Could a bad ground cause an amp to lose power?

if you have a bad or poor ground yes you will not get any power frm amp

Make sure that when you ground something if there is paint on the metal scrape the paint off so its bare metal.

If the sound comes on sometimes and others it doesn't, it's usually your grounds. Double-check that all your power wires are secure and haven't come loose, too. If the amps never come on, check fuses first. That's frustrating to search outa problem in the whole system, to find a fuse has blown (probably due to loose wires, lol)
