I have a 12"Alpine Type R and the seal is seperating around 1/4 of the sub and was just wondering what would be best to fix it........
what glue would hold if any? or if there is a better way let me know

I dunno if this will help, but
http://www.partsexpress.com has some surround repair kits available.
I have some temporary repairs to the surround, or the cone, using silicone caulk. Not sure if it was the adhesive caulk or regular stuff though. This worked for small repairs, not sure on show it would work on problems that large.
Does Alpine have a trade-in program like Kicker offers?

i used plastic repair epoxy on mine(it was the spider of the speaker though) and it worked fine..

if the leads from the connectors to the coils are like burnt, i can just solder them back up right?
