When they are closed do they send a positive signal, nothing or negative?
My door sensor is messed up and makes my alarm go off just about every night for no reason so I want to bypass it and make it think the door is closed at all times.
Anyone know how I might be able to do this?
when closed, no signal. when door is open, negative.

So if I unhooked the wire and wrapped in electrical tape, it will assume it's closed?
yes.

if you do that it kinda defeats the purpose of having an alarm. no door trigger? I'd find a nother way to get the doorpin to work. like using hte positve to the domelight or something. Might not be the best way but it would suffice.
Go to the dealer and get the sensor....
up here in canada cost me $8....
especially now that you posted you will bypass your sensor on your door.....
just my opinion....

It's pretty cold, I was going to wait until the summer to replace it. I still have a shock sensor. and the door pin on the passenger side works.
I park in the garage anyway :p
Cool, only takes about 2 minutes to get the old one out, and about 25 seconds to get the new one in....
