Hey guys,
well installing an amp off a 2k stock deck for a friend, but what should i use as a remote wire to the amp? What wire off the deck, or just stick it in the fuse panel (radio fuse). If off deck, anybody have a harness pinout/diagram?

If the head unit doesnt have a remote wire,which most done, you will need to hook it to a power source that is only on when the car is on.

Fuse tap... Just choice a fuse that isn't hot while the car is turned off that way you don't have to worry about the battery dying.

I used the heater fuse, but im not afraid of it getting cold around here... its up to you.

wiper fuse also works...just like wiring up a deck

Its weird, on the 2k. When i used the radio fuse, it would be on all the time, and the same with ACC fuse. So i used the ignitin, works, but subs won't be on when key is on acc or if u turn off car..the radio stays on till u open door.
