no, and yes.. The 10W6v2 is a dual 4 ohm voice coil sub, taking 400 RMS per sub. At best, that amp would be able to run at half it's rated RMS power. If you run the subs in parallel, each one will show a 2 ohm load, and the amp will push 200 RMS to each speaker. I'd say go for something a little bigger. Yes this amp will technically work, but won't work nearly as well as one with a little more backbone.
Brakes? I don't need no stinking brakes....I have air bags

Im in the everybody club are you?
It's a tricky thing when it comes to amps. You got two types of amps, one's who say they push 800 watts and only push three like Pyle and Sony. Then you have amps that say they push 300 watts and really hit like 800 like Kicker and Rockford Fosgate. When it comes to amps, especially pushing high end subs like JL Audio I would say it's better to save up than to use something inferior. I would definately check ebay though if you don't want to wait. Hell most of my system is from there. Good luck!
" There is a such thing as too much money for car audio"
2 MA Audio 120XE 12" Subs $100
1 Soundstorm 800 Watt 2 Channel Amp- $135
3/4" MDF Dual 12 Box- $40
JVC KDG-400 CDRW/MP3 Player- $125
Hitting 134 Decibals and being recommended for hearing conservation- Priceless!!!
Thanks for the help I went with 2 W3V2s instead.......I do have some Fosgate amps laying around and right now am running 2 Fosgate XLC but I am just not impressed with there stuff compared to how it used to be for my Fpsgate is below sony!
have never had a problem with my sony stuff so I figure why not just keep it instead of spending more money on amps I really don't need. After speaking with my friend that owns a audio shop I went with the W3v2's because I could keep what I have!
Thanks Again
