HVAC lights dont work. searched, checked fuse, changed bulbs...

They wont work! I have tried everything.

I am in the process of swapping out and cleaning nearly all my interior, wiring my sound system and LED's. So I figured i would put in blue led bulbs for my HVAC. my previous bulbs didnt work anyways, so i figured i would kill 2 birds with one stone)

however...they still dont work. The fuse is fine. I have twisted the bulbs, I cant figure it out. I have seached this and got a good couple threads but they were either a different question or there was never a solution. So any ideas?

If it helps, the car is a 95 cavalier and I bought the car with an aftermarket deck, but the lights never worked. The AC and rear defrost lgihts work, just not the main ones.

No ideas?

If no one has a simple solutiong Im probably just going to re-wire them to my decks "acc" wire.

Do you have a multimeter? Check to see if you have power at the sockets. If you do, then the problem is with the LEDs.

I would try with some known good 74 bulbs to make sure.

So i checked the wires running to the #74 HVAC bulbs with my multimeter, it read 0.15 volts. Thats not what it should be is it? I was thinking it should be12 v...

No, 0.15 volts isn't going to do anything. It should be around 12V with the lights on. Something is awry down the line.. and the only way to find it is to trace out the wiring
