196 is the loudest possible noise IIRC because anything above that is more of a shockwave than a noise.

I'm running a single 12" TF ONE with a Atomic 5000 watt mono block. I'm hoping to hit 150, but my voltage is dropping down to 10.9 so im not getting the full 5000 watts like i should be, I figure I'm only getting about 2000 right now.

I'm actually in Nova Scotia canada, we don't have any sanctioned events around here but me and a few others are trying to bring the sport back to eastern Canada.

we are using term lab, my budding that I'm working with has it. he's they guys that does almost all of the db comps at the local shows. (keeps him quite busy)

well the thing out here is there isn't many shops around here that are into DB Drag Racing, most of them are just into making money and selling there product. There really is only 1 or 2 actual stereo shops around aside from best buy and future shop and both those shops don't have a good rep due to crappy work and over pricing. For the guys that do there own work and install like me, we know the difference but for someone that just wants a system in there car most of them couldn't care less as long as it looks ok and get some more sound in there car they don't even think about build quality.

One of the shops out here is actually been known to install a decent system into someones car and then 2 weeks later get someone to break into that car and steal all the gear, bring it back to the shop and re sell it to make more money...........

As for the Alt, that will be my next step. I've been doing some looking around and trying to find one that's gonna run like 200 amp but not totally kill the bank hahahaha. I've been looking at power master but I know there are a bunch of other brands out there, just gotta find them. any suggestions?

Since you have the eco, alternator selections are smaller. Try mechman.

Email the company directly and ask them too. I hear some will do custom alts.

dc power alts with work with almost any car, i mean its the same internals, just a different case. lol, like if you order the 270 xp from dc power, your going to get the same alt (in a different casing) as say a durango. lol, so just call them or email them what your car is and what you wish to get out of the alt. they will point you in the right direction.
