WHYYYYY would you want to keep stock speakers as well as decent amped speakers?!?! horrible idea. But what is the 4 channel amp and what subs and speakers? it all comes down to the resistance load you can present each channel with and what power requirements the speakers and subs have to play their best.

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

more doesnt mean its going to be better. your probably going to be allot better off just powering a decent set off the amp and don't worry about the stock power off the headunit, its not gret to begin with.

I'd second this too. I also think the sound would be very "off-balance". Depending on the amp, I would simply just wire the speakers to the amp and run an RCA line in from the head pre outs and get a different amp for the sub. That way, it will be balanced. I also have seen 5 channel amps out there...but they are few and far in between.
