So heres the deal, I need two new 10s. I have restraints, unfortunately, but I like my truck's back seat and so be it.
mounting depth: 5.75"
air space: .59ea.
I need recommendations people! Lets hear them.
preferably something that can handle the rhythmic tones of Gucci Mane and Sevendust all in the same, lol
fi audio ssd
now they have a mounting depth of 6" not exactly what your looking for but if you could add another baffel onto the front it would work.
also they can handle some power, 800 wrms each atleast.

aa asassin
or a few of these.
has the mounting depth you require, but they only hand 250 wrms each.
what amp do you have?

I have two kenwood 550watt RMS amps.

I was also thinking about this sub, I called a place around here who deals with DC and he said they are about the same. I know the mounting depth is a bit more than I was looking but a 1/4" spacer wouldn't be a big deal. Plus I don't wanna spend $250 per sub on the DC level 3s and need 1/2" spacer.
The fi needs too much and the AA needs too little. lol
I want something that is gonna destroy the pile of junk Audiobahn Dubs that I have now. I was just hoping they would have lasted me till next year. I just blew a sh!t ton of money into the engine of my camaro... damn hind sight
I thought everythign besides the Opti line was kinda iffy?
yea i saw one of those lanzar max at a swap show, they did not impress me at all, very cheap, and you can tell, the surround is extrememly thin, and they have like zero resistance to pushing on them, to me that means a bad suspension. idk tho, for 100$ i just might try it out myself. thats dirt cheap!

I have a pair of 10W3v2's with Funky Pup dust caps. One with a brand new surround. Would love to sell them to pay for my Bimmer parts.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

might not want to put those re subs motor up against the back of the box, it looks like they have a pole vent on there, (sorry if its the wrong term) but it vents out the back of the motor, so if it was flat against the box it wouldnt be able to vent... but idk, it could just be an illusion.

if I use a spacer it wouldn't be flush with the back of the box. tho it would still heat up like a bastard in there...
Damn my want for back seats! Part of me really just wants to wall it up!
nevermind....mountuing depth is 6 1/8...disregard my post.
ugh! but I just had a bunch of people back there tonight! I need it! Tho I wanna do hair tricks! lol
Wall it. No excuses. Thats what the bed is for.
Although you could do a blow through.........
I'll x a billion Jason's recommendation on the ID Q as well. It's a great SQ sub.
Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.

car audio noob since 1984.
yea, I know I am asking a lot from such a small enclosure, but any way I can get more SPL than SQ? I really just want this thing to pound as hard as possible, even if I have to put a .75" spacer in there.
