Okay, my gf drives an 02 Sebring vert with factory cd changer and amp. I'm adding a sub/amp combo, but I had one small question. With the line output converter, do I connect it before or after the amp? (ie directly from the headunit, or can I just tap in right at the rear speakers)? It seems like it should be the same, seeing as its the same signal, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for any help,

I tapped into them after the factory amp. It didnt seem to hurt the sub amp or help it at all. I say just run it off from after factory amp
tap into rear 6x9's and done
thanks guys. it'll be much easier that way anyways, since i won't have to tear into the dash at all
When I tapped my rear 6x9's, I wasn't satisfied with the results.
At high volume with gain set correctly (DMM) it sounded great, but as you turned it down the bass overwhelmed everything else.
May be due to my cheap $20 LOC from Walmart though..
it was probably because your fronts werent amped. if your front were amped, then maybe it was a major difference in load like your sub being a 4 ohm and the door speakers being 8 ohm, etc, etc.

tap in to the rear 6x9's....but for future reference always tap in after the amp....never before the amp
