I have a clarion deck, in the rear i have eclipse speakers powered by Alpine amp... so as far as highs and mids i am all set, now for bass i am waiting to get my 6.5' door adapters. What are the best speakers to put in there for bass? And also I am looking at Infinity Reference subs... are they any goods? or which ones would you suggest are THE BEST, i don't care about the cost, i just want the best sound possible...

You're running entry level amps, speakers, and head unit, but you want high end subs?

doesnt focal make some that will run you around a grand

im actually confused by your post. you say you are set for highs but only mention rear deck speakers, then you talk about wanting bass and waiting on your 6.5" door adapters? are you wanting subs to put in the 6.5" opening? or are you wanting midbass drivers, or are you wanting subs and a 6.5" componet set.

I believe he is referring to component sets for the doors. Focals are really nice i think. Wished i had the dough for them. I had a listen to a Dodge Ram quad cab sponsored at the tokyo auto show last year and it was loud. It was set up for SQ and not for bass. Crisp mids and highs and the lows were not overly boomy.

If you don't care about cost, a set of rainbow, cdt, or focal 3 way components in the doors, a 2 way in the kicks, and http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=24 that subwoofer

yeah if your wanting componets and money isn't an issue i think the new high end rainbow set will run you around $6500.00 alpines top end drivers will run you around $3500.00 or their is a company that offers i believe there electrostatic speakers for the car. they will run you around $250,000.00 but they will at least come out and do the install for you.

i can personally say if money isn't an issue, go focal, i have a pair of their poly glass 165's and they sound amazing, as long as you set them up right. if your not going to set them up and amp them properly don't bother spending the money, a speaker can only sound as good as it's imaging can alow it, what i mean is you could have a $10,000 pair of speakers right beside a $10 pair of speakers, if the high end ones are facing the wall, the low end ones will sound better.
