I'm going to be running 2 1000 watt amps in my car. How likely is it that I will need to replace the alternator and/or battery? should I buy a capacitor? or two capacitors?

right now i'm using a amp thats pushing my 1300w rms sub and i have no problems. i have a 5 farad cap. my friends all run separate batteries for their stereos. i think that either would be a good choice. it just depends on which you prefer.
What kind of amps are they?
run another wire from the battery to the alternator, and ground out the case it helps with the voltage
