Ok as some of you know I have a wall in my 01 cavy with two 15" L7's and I am just running a deep cycle under the hood and stock charging system, and hitting 148's I cant seem to hit the 150's yet, anyways my question is, I want to change my wall to something more violent, which way should I go, heres my options
1one 18" RE mt, or one 18" fi btl fully loaded, or four 12" atomic apx's, or 4 12" of a different brand still undecided
With the 4 12" drivers you have more cone area, quite a bit actually.
I think it really comes down to if you can get the airspace needed for the 4 12" drivers, what class you want to be in if you compete, and the power you have available.
My vote goes for 4 12" drivers, or 6+ 10" drivers.

you can do the 4 12s if you are creative. 4 15s actually
You guys see the video of the cat with a wall of 6x9? Sick sick sick. Anyways, about the 4 12's, my optidrives like a small box (1.8 cube per sub) and they wang. Easily build a small wall with those, which I plan on doing eventually. My trunk box is wanging hard still.
that van had 50 I believe and at the end of burping it at a comp he blew out the whole bottom row and some in the middle and kept going lol
so it looks like I am gonna be doing a 18" Fi btl fully loaded just need to find the right amp to run, im looking towards MA hk4000d, kicker 2500.1, american bass 400.1, or soundstream but unsure which model, there was a thought about getting a hifonics goliath also
A friend and me were talking and we think that we can build a wall and box big enough to house 2 18's in my cavy, but the box will go half into the trunk then the rest into the cabin of the backseat right up to the door jams so I will be in SS1-2 wall class
I just need to know what to do about my charging system, like do I just get a bigger alternator, and if so what size is efficient? I am gonna be running 8 runs of 0awg from front to back and at least one battery in the trunk, did I miss anything? lol
all the help is greatly appreciated
you need a LOT more then one extra battery bro. Cram as many as you can back there...you are going to be fighting for space if you extend your box into the trunk. amps and batts take up space also!!
Personally..I would say cut out your spare tire well, and make a new battery compartment in it's place, housing as many batts as possible. but that's me, lol
And put the largest alternator you can under that hood...you will need it.

If you want to get louder..you either need more power, more cone area, or both.
Tuning higher will help you out a ton. You'll need to build your box and then tune it by adding port little by little. It takes a lot of time to tune a wall for spl.

when I do decide to do this The very back of the car will hold the battery or batteries we have calculated the right amount of space for at least 4 batteries if needed, im only starting with one, as for tuning the wall there will be a removable port so I can have it tuned for daily and then when going to a comp I can tune it for spl, and the alternator, well Im unsure about that, what is the biggest size I can go with our cars before frying stuff lol? 200amp 300amp?
Oh and I forgot to mention that the amps will be on top of the batteries on an amp rack that will be removable for easy access to the batts
