I just replaced my front speakers with some 6.5" components and 1.25" tweeters. My problem is that when I touch the wires to the crossover from the stereo all the others cut off and only my subs play. What is wrong?

you got some bloods in the area

either its out of phase or that speaker line is grounded out....try bypassing the crossover to see if it works. If it still cut off one of the speaker lines on that speaker is grounded out. Is the speaker itself touching any metal? did you break a terminal or something? BTW if it works you know you got a bad crossover...
