I have an Eclipse CD 8443. I Think its running somewhere around 14 watts a channel rms. I'm also running an Alpine MRV-T407 and i'm pretty sure its running around 70-75 watts a channel. what I want to know is when calculating the total RMS wattage do you add the cd players power to the amps power, or does it not work that way? The reason i'm asking is I want to know if I have enough juice to power some Infinity 6 1/2 components. I know the Infinitys are 2 ohm design and I think since thats the case my RMS wattages on the amp are closer to 90. Maybe I'm dreamin. If you guys could set me straight itd be great.
