i was wondering if it matters what gauge wire goes from the amp to subs thanx
Unless your doing comp it doesn't really matter. I always use 12 gauge though. it also matters the box->sub. Make sure they are the same gauge.
i got a new sub box and it has the little press clip things so i think i have to run 14g wire i was wondering if this would be ok or if my sound quality would go down
you didn't mention what size amp you are running, so under normal conditions 12 ga. would be good. just think of wire as you do water hose. the bigger the hose the more water runs through it. but if you plan on running multiple amps, then run bigger ga. wire.
