positve to positve on both batteries and negativve to negative on both batteries. upgrade your big 3 and you are done.

I've done the big 3 ty

So you hook the positives of both batts up to the altinators pos and the batts neg to the alts neg.

no, he didn't say anything about your alternator.

Run a wire from one battery to the next (power).

ground both batteries to the chassis.

wiring them as stated above will put the two batteries in series. the alternator will charge both batteries, but the amount of charge sent normally will now be split in between the two batteries.

if you have charging problems, a bigger alternator will help as well.

I'm new to this but isnt more power better. but I got 3 alpine pdx mono amps to put in with 600w rms and a 4 ch with 150w rms.

I was goting to have an electrical shop put in a new altinator and a second baterie but they wanted alittle to much, that said thay had to add this and that, and it would be better to put 2 golf cart bateries in insted. so i figure i'll just search and get the info my self.

Well if your only running say...500 watts, then no, it would not benefit you to have a high output 300 amp alternator

I would say you should be good with a 200 amp alt. Check out excessive amperage for a good one.
