Basically, anywhere I go, they will not do a deck install for me without getting the expensive harness.
Everyone says i'll have problems, and that my factory warranty will not be good, is that true?
Also, anyone know of somewhere cheap to get the expensive wiring harness myself, they are charging me $110 CDN.

Crutchfield.com has them for $40 if you buy a deck with it. But that wont help you if you already have a deck.
And about the warranty thats bulll@!#$, Your not modifiying anything factory just adding to it.
you can use a normal cav harness, but you will lose your door chimes. i didnt care about my chimes, so i just used the normal $10 harness.
the comment of voiding warranty is BS
I got the whole harness with chimes and all at best buy for $85 cause I intend on modding it later on with some leds and pre-recorded sounds for when the door chimes.
i just used a Saturn harness, only thing was speakers were reversed....ie: White was actually left rear instead on left front......you get the idea. And no more door chimes.....do you really care??
