Hello Everyone,

Im trying to install keyless entry on my 1996 Cavalier. The car has power locks. I have Compustar CM4200 and i dont know where to wire up the (-) 200mA Unlock Output and 200mA Lock Output wire from the alarm. I read on the other forums that i need relays?! and how do i know if the car has 5 Wire Alternating 12 Volts Positive OR 3 Wire Positive Door Locks. I traced the wires and found this:

When i unplug this box, the locks isnt powered anymore. Thanks Everyone. Sorry bad english....

Did your car have existing keyless? Take off a door panel and see how many wires come off of your actuator.

i dont know if the car has existing keyless before. There's 5 wires coming out of the actuator. brown, white, blue..etc.

I posted in one of your earlier posts the solution.

Goto www.the12volt.com , under relays, check the wiring for reverse polarity. You have a negative trigger, and a positive output.
