big circle peg, oblong smaller hole...

So, I want to put 6.5's in all 4 speaker locations and replace that 4x6 and 6x9 crap. The only thing is that I'm pretty sure that the 6.5's won't fit in the hole where the 4x6 go in the door. Does anyone know what is the best tool to use that is portable (power or non-power) that is also remote since I don't have an outlet where I park my car, that I can use to make the hole circular to place the speakers in?

Well, I'm pretty sure that the speakers won't fit, but I'm not positive. I have an 02 Chevy Cavalier LS 4 Dr Automatic. Thanks

yea, I'm aware of the related topics on this, but I couldn't find anything that said whether a 6.5 speaker would require me modding out the 4x6 hole in my door to fit the speaker in. But I guess that all depends on the speaker. But let's just say that I did have to mod it to fit the speaker, exactly what should I use that is portable to shave off the metal to make the hold bigger?

A more accurate observation has never been typed. These should be the starting points before any serious performance modification. What's the point of making a serious performer if you can't control it's power?

its is Very close but i just used i small spacer to make it work so it does not hit. However my new cdts came with a strong foam ring attached to give a little space between the door panels

Cool. I've been thinking about picking up a pair of these Polk Audio ones to put in the doors of the Sunfire

Cant argue with the 80 ratings equaling 5 stars. But personally I am a fan of cdt. or elemental designs.

Check these out any of these would be a great choice:

CDT COAX
CDT COMPS
ELEMENTAL COMPS

Would I be better off using 6x9 in the rear deck or another set of 6.5s?
