remote start group buy feeler

What do you guys think about a remote start group buy? I'm an authorized Omega installer and I can get really good prices for their remote starts and bypass modules; I could do packages for your needs, whether it's a standalone remote start, 2 way, alarm, I can even do remote starts for manual transmissions (yes they're safe as well). Let me know what you guys think.

How about a 2 way set and bypass module for a 2002 2200 2 door. + about 10 relays

Yes, I have a remote start that is specific for manuals. As far as j-body, they're not specific for the vehicle, but I want to include the module for our cars. I can do any car out there's bypass module and include the printout for which wires you need for it. I can do relays of course, and I can do packages for cars without keyless to add keyless + remote start.

For a basic remote start for an automatic with the bypass module i'm thinking around 100 bucks shipped, and that'll include a wiring diagram for your pleasure. If you have keyless existing, it's not hard to do. If you don't have existing keyless, like I said I can do a package and give a diagram on how to wire the new actuators. Manual transmission cars are going to be a smidge bit more, maybe around 120 shipped. I'm going to talk to my distributor and see what he can do for us. Like I said I do omega, and for a basic manual transmission I do scoche. They're both rock-solid, very easy to install, and very reliable.

how dumb is the manual remote start.?

do you have to disengage transmission, pull ebrake, bark three times, get out , lock the doors and spin around three times like most kits....

im just wanting something for my manual that all i have to do is put tranny in nuetral, pull ebrake, lock doors...

i just wish there was someway that if my tranny was in gear it wouldnt start just in case.

What kind of price would it be for the auto remote start 2 way alarm? Also how long of a range is it?

For the manual transmission - you put it in neutral, keep foot on regular brake, pull up e-brake, take keys out and the car will still be running. Close door, it's set to be remote started. You don't have to do backflips or push 47 buttons all at once to get it to work, which I HATE about most kits. Nor do you have to wire in switches to your gear shifter and pray they work. I've gotten a good solid 1000+ feet out of them, inside and outside of buildings. The upgraded 2-way will do up to 1500 feet.

Darkstars - the manual kit that i'm going to offer has trunk, doors, and remote start. You could control everything from it.

Those of you with existing alarms and an extra channel on the alarm I also have add-on remote starts for them. You'd just use the other channel to remote start your car.

Yes, as a matter of fact, there is a package I can do for you with a manual transmission that will do exactly that - let you know when it's started plus other features with a 2-way pager remote. When the time comes I'll have prices for everyone.

Im very interested now lanman..... one last thing though, as far as the installation goes can this be a diy kit or a hire a alarm/remote start specialist which = big bucks. im pretty good at wiring electrical parts, i did put in my spal power lock kit, car stereo, and did a cavalier to sunfire dash swap...

so how hard would this be to do.

As far as DIY, i make it so someone who has a basic knowledge of electrical stuff can do it. I'll include a wiring chart to which wires you need from your car to make it work. If things get too complicated, you may want an expert, but you should be able to do it if you've wired up all of those things yourself.
