After a long time waiting..
Wednesday, January 24, 2007 6:42 PM
I finally got my 12w6v2 and Kicker kx600.1 in the mail. I have to say im pretty damn impressed by the W6. Im guessin its gettin about 600 watts and it blows away other 2 subwoofer setups ive had in the past. For some reason though the box that I got for it isnt sealed all the way, the speaker terminals can be pulled right out of the box. So Im gonna have to seal that up. But aside from that im pretty sure my windshield is flexing LOL.. And another thing, I must have blew a fuse to the dash lights because they no longer work. So a pretty good install otherwise. Just thought Id share my .02

Thanks for reading.

Just out of curiosity what other setups did you have? For comparison.

Um.. lets see. First setup I ever had was 2 Infinity Kappa 12's and a JL Audio 250/1 with a.5 Farad fosgate cap. And I guess I shouldnt have said HAD replace that with heard... Regardless im pretty impressed with the W6.

Nice sub!

I can't wait to get my 2 12W7's in and listen to those. I installed a 1000/1 and a 12W7 in a JL AUDIO HO box yesterday in a Monte Carlo, Damn it sounded good. I am now thinking I might need another 1000/1.

Yeah im loving it more and more every day.. I think the amp choice works well with it too. Im simply amazed by the SQ and accuracy. That thing doesnt miss a beat.

P.S. fixed my dash lights, had a fuse out LOL.. Damn those little fuses too you cant just go to a gas station and buy them.. I had to go to radio shack 20 miles from my house to find them. Livin in the sticks sucks!
