Finishing installing in-dash navigation

Ok, so I've done my searching through here, and also online from other sites, and it's a big deal listing the details apparently, but I need to hook up the vss wire for the unit. I won't give details on what I've found, but I've been told two different colors, and the one that seems more common has 2 more of the exact same color right by it. Can someone just let me know, either in this thread or in a pm, where exactly the best place to tap this wire is, or at least a good way to test? Thanks.

Anyone? Not to sound impatient, but it's the last wire I have left to hook up, and I reaaally want to test it out... plus it's getting darker and colder now, heh....

I have a 97 and im pretty sure i used the green w/white wire coming off the back of the gauge cluster. If that helps you at all.

anyone else confirm this? I've found green/white, but i don't know which one it is at the pcm, or how i can test it by myself, as i think i need to be driving to get anything from the wire? is it also inside/under the dash, or at the gauges? I don't know what happens if the wire sends dc voltage to the unit, and i'd rather not find out, so i really want to be sure before i connect it. Any more help would be great.
