Would anyone happen to have a paper template for mounting 6 1/2's in our doors? I had one but lost it, and I don't have the 4x6's to trace anymore. Second, those of you with 98+ sunfires and components in the doors, did you hot glue or jb weld the new tweeter into the old tweeter pod?

id make your own template diffrent audio brands will have slightly diffrent mounting plates and sizes. ive seen 6.25 and 7" speakers all listed as 6.5

Good call, i figured I could use someone else's template, find the center, and trace for my own specific speakers, which i did in the past, but now I don't have the 4x6's or my old template.

my cdt tweets just poped right in and didn't move, but i did put some hot glue around them

Thanks Mark - I popped off the tabs and my Opti 6.1 tweets will fit in perfectly. I'll drop some hot glue in there and call it a day. It's going to be so nice to have door speakers again!!!!
