Orange/White on Metra 70-2003 Harnes it says its a Dimmer wire it also has an Ilumination wire that is Orange my deck has a Orange/White Illumination wire it does not say anything about Dimmer Do I connect my decks Orange/White Illumination wire to the Orange Illumination wire on the Metra Harness or do I match up Orange/White on my deck and the Harness, it would be Illumination to Dimmer? what do I do? what is the dimmer for?

I didn't use the dimmer wire... I'm not sure if the cavalier has an illumination wire, might be an empty spot. Check the factory harness.

i just taped them off and my radio and lights work fine.

This wire will cause your deck to run with the lights dimmed according to your lights on your gauges. I never use a dimmer wire so I can keep my deck bright as possible.
