I shaved my antenna and i was goin to use one of those autoloc type ones, the ones with a box then to slim peices comin out of each end, but i cant get the damn thing to stick to my back window and i was just goin to get a male -to-male connector and connect the male of the hidden to the male of the stock antenna wiring in the car but that didn't tunr out so good. So what are all you guys using when u shaved your antenna?

would that work if i found a male-to-male connector and just ran it up to the roof and taped it right next to the window under the headliner?

Use a little bit of rubbing alcohol on the spot where you are going to tape it (to clean the glass).

mines just hangin inside my trunk....still gets about the same signal...but what do i care, sirius FTW!

dont use the autoloc one, it blows. the one metra makes is MUCH better, ive had both.

i agree with above...GET SIRIUS or XM...MUCH better.

nm i found one i was lookin under the wrong name for it. i have 2 of these antennas here the ones like Autolocs, one i just got off ebay and its some offbrand one and the other i got at advance auto parts a couple years ago.

what about removeing the TALL stock on and putting a shorter rubber one? will you lose and FM signals? i hate seeing the big tall mast on my car

I've done that, lost a little reception, but not enough to worry
