hey guys a while back i had read a post about some website you can go to and tell them what year and all that your car is and they pull up all of the speakers, headunits and whatnot that will fit in your car does anybody remember the website??
no idea what the website is.... what kind of car are you looking fo sizes for?
Essentially, you can make any head unit and any speaker fit in your car. The size of the headunit mount is (I think) 1.5 din (someone correct me if I'm wrong), but it might be only 1 din, so any HU that's either 1 or 1.5 din will fit. The stock speaker sizes are 4x6 in the front, and 6x9 in the rear, so any 4x6 or 6x9 will directly replace stock equipment.
the hu size depends on what yr j you are looking for. the 00+ are double din i beleive.
assuming you have a 2001 z24, its crutchfiled and you have 6 by 9's in the rear and 5 and a halfs in the front doors! just like every other cav and fire might have the super tweets if its a monsoon
dude, go to crutchfield.com, or bestbuy.com
Um, our cars have 6x9's in the back deck and 4x6's in the doors. 95-99 are 1.5 din, 2000+ are double din. As for monsoon, it doesn't give you "super tweets", it's an added amp for the rear set of speakers, and the rears have a 2 way bi-amped 6x9. Wait, I keep forgetting your certified, my bad.
So the 95-99 cavs are 1.5 din eh? Cool... that opens some new avenues I can take that I didnt think I could
