all depends on how good a piece you can. either can be made to be extremly strong. but there are allot ot companies out there that will make it as cheap as possible so its not a yes or no answer. i mean yes it could take the abuse fine if built right but if its junk and thin and your hitting high numbers it may not handle it.

All the twinkies in your trunk will dampen the vibrations alot, so I dont think you will have anything to worry bout. CF if stronger though so If the twinkies run low often then get a CF trunklid.

sorry, i dont eat in my car dickhead. and like ive said... i dont like twinkies either.

i was expecting to you say something retarded like "ohhhhh boy! big bass! you must have an optimus amp and radio shack subs!"

damn you for not creating a better arguement.

classglass makes good products, i have their cf hood (before their black gel-coat stage) and its good. if you get a cf lid i dont see a problem. cf is strong and you shouldnt have a problem

You should be fine if all you're running is RF Punch's or the 10" HE (from your reg), especially if you're going with classglass

well, yeah... my system isnt anything EXTREMLY loud, but it can get pretty decent.

my sys. as of now isnt completed yet.
i built my custom boxes (2 sealed seperate enclosures)-they aint nuttin 2 special
2 mtx 6500 d amps
2 rockford punch he2 dvc's, 12's

i was running just an mtx 8302 in stereo with the subs in parrellel with a dual 12" q-logic ported box and it seriously was really loud.

im just thinking its going to have a huge increase when i hook up the seperate amps to the subs.
might not... but hey, id like to be safe.

my cf lid(JSP) held up fine to my system, which is pretty loud. 2 12's and 2 10's. then again i have 250 sq ft of fatmat in the car, so vibrations anywhere are minimal/non-existant

hmmm, well...once i take my stock lid off im going to lose some dynamat...lol
will it stick to the fibers underneath a cf or fg lid at all?

i guess i could cover the entire inside of the trunk compartment with it as well...
