okay, i was installing my cd player (Kenwood KDC-X890) today and I cut away a lit bit of the plastic behind the deck but it's still a very tight fit
So i was wondering what all is safe to cut back behind there... i don't want to go cutting into something that's gonna cost me in the long run.

just dont cut the hvac duct and you'll be fine

i went right through the firewall
you can cut out just about anything that isnt the HVAC duct. If you need to cut down pull your HVAC controls out first.
