Ok I'm ordering 2 Elemental Design 13kv.2 D2 and I'm wondering if the Elemental Design amp NINe.2x will power the good in a ported box built to specs to the subs?
Also..I've never had experience with subs before so if anyone could show me what kind of wiring/amp kit/ect I need i would love you.
a 4 guage amp wiring kit would be good. and as for the amp, the nine.2x would be good, nine.1 slightly more efficient and more power on tap to allow nice upgradability later on (not that u will be upgrading from 13k.v2s anytime soon!!!
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn
Like Dustin said.... the nine.2x is a perfect match, get two D4 13kv2s and then the nine.2x. Should be about 300-400 watts per speaker. More than enough.
If you plan to upgrade later on, then maybe the little extra for a nine.1 and then get two D2 drivers. wired to 2 ohms and put 450 watts per speaker. You will want to make sure everything is set correctly, becuase the nine.1 puts out alot of power. I ran a nine.1 at 1 ohm on two 13kv2 in a eD spec vented box. But i was very carefull.
As for wiring.
With the nine.2x, you can get away with an 8 awg wiring kit. 4 awg would be better tho.
With the nine.1 you WANT to have atleast 4 awg.
If you plan on running another amp later on, then you want to get either the 4awg dual amp kit with the nine.2x, or the 0awg dual amp kit if you get the nine.1.
