I just wanted to make sure of something.
If I want to illuminate a gauge, but not power it. I would tap the light brown wire in the steering column and ground it somewhere else. Right?
For 12v with the engine running, I tap into the thick pink wire in the steerin column and ground somewhere else. Right?

go to the fuse panel and tap the wiper fuse only on when ignition is!

where is the thin brown wire? I see a thick brown wire...but not a thin one?
Same wire? It's about as thick as the thick pink one.
Which chunk of wiring is it in?
