I have a 2002 sunfire. While driving my car my ABS dash light comes on and sometimes it seems like the power shuts itself off the turns on for a 1/10th of a second. All the lights in the dash power up like when you just start the car all my guages down to 0 and bad to what it was. Earlier today when i stopped at a stop sign it did the shutdown thing and just died on me then it started right back up.

Anyone have a clue what my problem is?

I had a problem similar to yours happen to me last night, I started my car and none of my gauges worked, however my airbag light stayed on the entire time. I checked all the fuses ~ all ok. The wierd thing about was my radio wouldnt shut off and like i said the only dash light that worked was my airbag light, my parking brake light didnt even work. The car ran fine and I made it home without incident. There is light at the end of the tunnel, disconnect your neg terminal on your battery, to reset the computer for a minute or two and reconnect. You should be Golden. If not let me know.
