ok..my windows are going up and down REALLY slowly lately..ive got an 02 ls sedan. its got about 55k on them. i havent taken the door panels off to look at the grease situation (or lack therof) but i was researching prices for the motors...

has anyone experienced ebay window regulators? i can get 2 for about 40 bux compared to 100 bux EACH on GMPD. they say lifetime warranty...

anyone actually done this? anything i should know? should i go ebay or avoid it?

I got mine from A1motor. But I didn't get the two for one deal. Get the one's that says OES. That's the one
that last longer, so they say. I had them for 5 mos. with no problems.."Knock on wood"

advance or autozone, lifetime warranties and go ahead and buy a 3rd one to swap out and always have a fresh one in the car. that makes it so much easier if they go out at inopportune times

i have one motor from each placre so that if one goes out anywhere no matter whats local i can get a new motor asap.

I should've went to autozone 'cause they were the same part and price. I wasted shipping money and time for delivery.
The hardest part for me was drilling the rivets. Mine is an 03 I don't know if it's the same wth yours. Also
the replacement screws were too short and I had to drive to autozone to buy longer ones. Other than that,
it was pretty easy. And make sure you re-grease all moving/sliding parts.

i bought mine off of ebay. i have had them for a year and no problems. the thing with the ebay ones is that the rivets arent the right ones for our car. i just bought some small screws and locking nuts so that if they do go bad again they will be alot easier to take off. have fun drilling some of the rivets!!!!!
