Sounds pretty good in an SUV, but not really for a car. I've put one in a Pathfinder, and one in an Infinity G35. It gave pretty sufficient bass in the Pathfinder, but not enough in the G35.

It's good to add just a wee bit of thump to a stock system. If you have an aftermarket system already, get a decent sub+amp.

i had one. for 130 bucks at pep boys you get 2 12" visionik woofers, with an amp (that puts out 150x2..i looked it up) and wiring kit..only thing you need is speaker wire...its a much better boom for the buck than basslink. ive had both.

reason I was lookin is because it only weighs 25 pounds. That was the big thing to me. My type r alone weighs that.

so the only diffrence in weight is the box. wich is maybe going to be 50 lbs for a single sub if its a beefy box. wich is less then 1/10th of a second in the quarter mile. i wouldnt worry about it unless you keep losing races by 1/10th of a second. if your really concerned just fab up a fiberglass box. that should cut your weight in half.

Basslink = Kicka$$

Becasue nice sound and ONLY 25lbs (or less)

I have one! Plus it won't take up your whole truck and you can get to your spare if you carry one.

Not an audiophile but def best choice in my opinion.

later...

Basslink is a "fill" sub, not a thump sub, so if you need a little more bass for a good "sound" system it is perfect. If you are looking to rattle the windows, move on.
