like the topic says....anyone know a cheap place to buy 0 gauge power wiring? ive seen some pretty rediculous prices so far
any help is appreciated.
Stereo shops, if you can find one who will sell of the roll you can get it for $1/foot (canadian) which is pretty reasonable.
damn, thats cheap....everywhere i seen so far is anywhere from $3-5 per foot US
I didn't have a stereo shop near me, so I went to NAPA. I don't know if they carry 0 AWG, but I got 2 AWG for a buck and change a foot.
We have 4459 stand 0 awg wire for $2 a foot with the forum discount.
It comes in blue and silver.
if interested feel free to call the shop at 641.792.2501.

The best store I have seen is 2AWG at Advance Auto Parts, it was $1.50/foot. Kinda like NAPA. No one bought it while I worked there.

Ban low-performance cars, not high-performance ones.
Welding Supply Stores should have ) gauge for less than a buck a foot from what I hear

i would always recommend your local stereo shop. how much do you need? do you need it as one wire or 2? maybe I can help you out.
i would also recommend if anyone needs anykind of wire to stock up on in soon. The price of copper has gone up and if places havent already, they will soon raise the prices. Retail prices are expected to go up nearly 200%.+
im gonna need about 30 foot total i think. a 16 foot run, and the rest os for the big 3 upgrade

Do you really need 14 feet for a Big 3 upgrade?
your big 3 grounds shouldnt be more than 1ft and 3 ft.
as for the alternator to bat, not sure.

u really shouldnt 0gauge for the big 3 upgrade, ask john the shop manager @ darylls bout the kid who tried it.....
What happened? He put his positive to the frame? ... I seriously fail to see any problems with upgrading the alternator wire, the battery to ground wire and the alternator ground....There's already wires that's do that just when you add you're putting in more ways to the elecricity to flow that are more direct and threfore, easier on your electric system ... ?
