So i got an alpine HU and the correct harness adapter for an 04 cavalier.
This is how i wired it and i get nothing when i turn the car.
I ran a line from the battery to the yellow wire on the HU
Fuse tap from the windshield wiper with a 10amp fuse to the RED wire on the apline.
From the harness adapter to the alpine harness i did the orange illumination wire
Blue remote on the alpine unit to the remote wire on my amp.
Alpine ground to a chassy ground (oem ground)
What am i missing to get this to start.

Disconnect the orange wire and give it a try.
