All right...somebody please help me before I start ripping my 04 cavalier appart! I just installed a new head unit, door chime module, and front speaker component system. It worked fine for about 2 weeks then all the sudden the speakers just stopped producing sound. The head unit still functioned fine just there was no sound. I pulled the head unit out and checked all of the wiring. None of it seemed to be burnt up or disconnected. Then I put my factory unit back in cuz I thought it might be the head unit, but the factory one didnt work either. If anybodys got ANYTHING PLEASE LET ME KNOW. thanx
Or possibly a grounded speaker wire on the body.
would that make every speaker not work?
I think so, thats what happened to mine.
DAMN! Thanx a lot bro! I thought I was going to have to send the head unit back 4 a min. One of the wires was pinched in the between the speaker and the door.
