Okay. I know how to wire a radio... and I've searched for this problem, but I can't figure out how to rig the HU to turn on when the car is turned on.... Can anybody help me out here? Thanks.
If this is in your 1998 then you shouldn't have a problem if used the correct harness.
Otherwise you could find a switched source and connect that to the switched wire on the HU harness.
I used the turn signal wire.
