RE had two owners, Scott and Mark. Scott sold his share to Mark a month or two ago. Then Mark turned around and sold his total ownership to the guy who owns US Amps. But at the moment RE and US Amps have nothing to do with eachother.
I just hope nothing happens to David. He's been the face of RE for as long as I've known them and I would hate to see him get let go.

Seriously, the bull@!#$ RE and Adire have been pulling over the past 7 months has been disgusting. This sale means mutiple problems in Canada, such as smaller distributors of RE being thrown out of buisness by the already large and established US AMp distributors. Not only that, but gewtting ahold of any RE stuff has been next to impossible lately.
Adire ? The Chilean project failed (manufacturing plant)... miserably. Now they have moved back up north and are struggling to get stock out for Car audio. + the merger with Hemp Audio has also raised concerns on how solid their car audio will be. They will not have any Woofers in Canada availible until late June, early July. One of the new plants though will be in BC.
Yes they make great products, but the past little while has been complete mismanagement.
