Need help picking out an amp for the speakers
Sunday, March 26, 2006 10:52 PM
Next up for the Cavy's stereo is a new 4 channel amp for the speakers. But I am lost in what is good, what is bad. I want to keep it under $100 if at all possible. It will be pushing 4 Infinity speakers, so Im thinking 75-100w rms to each speaker will be good enough.

Input welcome, thanks!

Alright then, what relatively low priced amps could you recommend?

Profile AP1040

that would give you 80x4 rms watts and you could stay under 100 if you go it off of ebay

I think you will be happy with it, they are pretty true to their RMS ratings, and good build quality too, so have fun with it!
