I just got my power door lock and power trunk release in the mail today and plan on putting them in as soon as it warms up... any tips? and will be adding a writeup to this with pictures as i go, from what i understand the power locks do not use an added button to lock/unlock the doors, it works when you unlock the car from the outside with the key it will unlock both or when you pull the tab to unlock it from the inside it will unlock the other door as well. and the trunk release just just an actuator with a momentary switch that pulls the wire to open the trunk, it doesnt seem like its going to be much owrk other than running the wires, but this should be pretty helpful to anyeone else that needs to do this because i didnt find much when i searched for tips and such. maybe extensive enough for a sticky? who knows? we'll see shortly.

I just bought a set of actuators as well and I plan on hooking them up directly to my alarm system when I put that in as well. Hope its fairly easy
