quick question, why does it say 1000watts rms on the amp but 3000watts rms on the box? which is it? 1000watts single channel rms 3000watts bridged or something?

you can pick them up all day for around $750 new your looks used to ill say $350-400, but why not daily im about to pick up 2 and run 4 sub's daily off of them.
the amp does around 4200 watt's bridged at 1 ohm (12.2 volts) with 2 deep cell batterys. vary good amp.
what are you goin to push with it?

I'm sure it'll push anything that can fit in the trunk of a cavy.

The cheapest you can Ebay these thing into Canada for are about 1100, they retail in stores for a good 1500 to 1800 (In Canada). This is also a XX version, not a regular.
We plan on pushing a MT on it, should be fun
(149 to 153 db range)

I was planning on getting one to use on my stroker, but if it's gonna cost me $1500-1800 to get one up here I think I'll go another route. Maybe I'll have to take a trip down south and pick one up myself.

Hifi makes really good amps, I was gonna get 2 brutus 1500 class d amps but I found a collosus for about 400 used on ebay just waiting to see what happens with is, also You can get anamp like my old on in my fiances protege, an autotek 3000.1 rms at 1ohm is around 4500 i think, but you will need to batteries and two caps minimun lol

You don't need caps. Good call on the Colossus, I think you should run it as a daily driver
