2ohms or 4ohms?

i have a 1000 watt monoblock amp.. dpx10012 clarion.. and i need to know which subs i should get.. clairon are replacing my srw1085's but i don't know about the best setup for them

heres my choices4ohm

2ohm

can someone help me out?

and depending on which one i get theres different ways to wire them up? correct? could someone please help me out..

You'll want 2 dual 2 ohm subs, wire them series/parallel to give you 2 ohm load.

Interesting. In the specs for that amp...it says it's 1 ohm stable in stereo mode. 500x2 @ 1 ohm.


But yeah..go with the dual 2 ohm....especially since the dual 4's that you listed are a shallow mount design.

ohh sorry my bad.. the 4's that i can get aren't the shallow ones... still the 2 ohm setup..
where did u find the specs on my amp.??
