New Install done PICS !

Did all of this install except building the box (Kinda proud of it.. Clean for my abilitys.) IF I had the proper knowledge to build a 6th order BP box though then I would have built it. :p ..Pictures suck.. I know.. but blame my pos camera. I need to retake some.

HU
Alpine CDA 9835

Amps
Planet Audio TT4300
Planet Audio TT4200

Woofer
Alpine Type R 12' 1242D

Enclosure
Custom built 6th Order Bandpass

Speakers
CDT CL 62s
Visonik Pro "A" Series 3 way 6x9's

Wiring
Alpine Type R RCA's & Planet Audio RCA's
Alpine Distribution Blocks
Audio Pipe 4 Gauge Kit

Here are some pics of mine. (although you can't see the sub happy: )'

Amps
TT4300 and TT4200

I plan on making a zipper carpet colour to cover the 2 amps. Have a cutout to show the tops. Should look even better.

4300 powers the Woofer. 4200 powers the Comps & rear CoAx's.

This is an older Day shot of the 4200 back when I my old enlosure and woofers. Better sight @ daytime.
Enclosure and Woofer

The odd thing was before I heard a REAL bandpass enclosure.. I completely hated them. Then Once I heard my first 6th order I fell in love. I wanted to even take a step up to an 8th order box... BUT trunk space limited me to think differently. This one is big enough as it is.

HU

Alpine 9835. To be honest ONE of the best non F1 units ever made period.

Swapped out the cluster and HVAC display panal. (Cavalier to Sunfire swap). The Sunfire cluster looks 100x better imo. The Cavalier one was an ugly green color.

A day shot

Components & Rears

Tweeter is on a slight angle, decent imaging despite the location. Looks stock as well

Visonik Pro "A" Series 3 Way 6x9's. (Handle 200 RMS). I never really have them on (faded to the front) unless I have passengers in the rear. THey sound fantastic though. Something Visonik has done right despite all the crap they have let loose.

It produces the most natural bass I have ever heard in my life . It is no one hit wonder BY any chance have you ever heard a real Bandpass box.. OR only those mucky prefab ones ?

is the sunfire cluster a direct plug in? and is it 2000+?

I would personally cut slits in the fabric and run the wires and everthing under the fabric of the seats and the trunk.

Thats how i did mine and you only see the wires where they pop up to go into the amp or box.
Other than that, looks good.

I paid 150 $ I got a good percentage off though due to the fact that I bought the amp and woofer off him as well.

Yep, direct plug'n'play for the cluster. (2000 and above) The Hvac unit Display panal needed a bit of modification though. The mounting bracket on the Sunfire one is a little tighter.. but nothing a hot exacto knife could not fix.

That cluster is from a 2003 Sunfire GT, and the HVAC display panal is from a 2001 Sunfire GT.
