6.5s in the door
Saturday, February 11, 2006 9:37 AM
I recently bought a set of components for my doors and was just wondering how to make the adapter plates i saw an indepth post on this but i cant seem to find it right now. Any help on this would be appreciated as in i would like to do this project this weekend. Also anyone have ideas how i can make fiberglass pods for the tweeters up by the mirrors? Or do yous think it would be better to make some kick panels

the post ur lookin for is the sticky at the top i believe, it shows some weird spaces for speaker innstall...but if you want 6.5s in the door just get some 3/4 inch mdf board and make a spacer out of it, thats what i did, it works great

or you could use 1/8 inch masonite. works just as good and you can make the adapter to fit on the original adapter. its also ALOT cheaper. about 4 dollars for a 3 foot by 1-1/2 foot piece. at home depote. if you have one
