i have a remote starter, just got it installed. But unfortunately i forget sometimes and "start" the car when it already is. Nothing like the sound of grinding flywheel. I would also like to point out that i know electronics and i already have the wiring planned. with that said, is there any harm in having the starter disabled when the car is on?

man i did that in my truck a few times. start in 5 mins later jump in toss the key in and griiiinnnnddd god awful sound..
