Im trying to connect a Line Out Converter to the factory radio harness in my 2002 Sunfire (non-monsoon). I need to know what colors mean what on the factory harness. I have searched all over and have found a few charts, but each of them say different things. I want to know the correct color code is before I start splicing.

ok 2 questions. How can the yellow wire be both "switched 12+" and "left rear"?? And which one would I hook up my Remote Amp cable to??
Currently I have the LOC Connected to the + and - of the 2 rear speakers at the harness, and I have my Amp Remote wire connected to the purple wire, cause thats the closest I could find to pink. Is that right??
Amp Turn On PINK (+) RADIO HARNESS
LF Speaker (+) TAN
LF Speaker (-) GRAY
RF Speaker (+) LIGHT GREEN
RF Speaker (-) DARK GREEN
LR Speaker (+) BROWN
LR Speaker (-) YELLOW
RR Speaker (+) DARK BLUE
RR Speaker (-) LIGHT BLUE
as for the remote turn on wire...how does the wire test when you turn on the radio? if it goes hot when on and goes off with the radio, then yer good.

I dont have a multimeter.
i would forego any and all wiring endeavors 'till you pick one up. better yet, break down, spend 70 bucks and get a power probe.
