Well my in dash has dimmed since i installed it with even little bass.. and gets really bad if i turn the bass up more i was told this could possibly be a bad ground? do u guys suggest just cutting the ground wire and directly grounding is closer? or with bigger wire or something? i just have the ground attached to the ground from the stock player..
So your 3 main grounds for the battery.
Search, someone posted them and I can't remember what they are.
A bandaid solution would be a capacitor.

upgrade magic 3
shorten the ground
maybe a cap
yellow top
high amp alt
That's just what i would do.
What kind of deck do you have? If it is a Sony, they are known for that. If it is something else, let me know and I can advise what to do.

its a jensen not the greatest brand but ya.. ill start by shortning the ground
try a larger fuse or smaller guage wires or something or maybe your battery is just weak. (i know nothing about audio i just pay people to do it for me.)

Don't use the factory ground, bolt the wire directly to metal in the dash. Another thing that'll help is run a thicker power wire from the battery to the memory (yellow) wire going to the deck.
