Alright...so i was reading up that u lose a lot of energy through the long leads from the the battery under the hood to ur amps at the back...and i was wondering if i moved my battery to my trunk if i would have more power to my amplifiers because the wires are shorter...or would it be the same cuz the battery is so much farther from the alternator....and if the 2nd one is true...how much better would a 2nd battery in the trunk be....and how would a capacitor help this problem...and like...wat are those yellow topped batteries people have, i heard they're better or somethin...can someone clarify for me please

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.

Ok, here's the skinny on getting more power to your amps. (deep breath)
Think about the "big three" first. Upgrade your alternator power to battery power wire, battery ground wire, and engine ground wire to at least 4 gauge wiring and you should see a pretty big increase just from that.
Check with a dmm and make sure the grounds on your amps read zero ohm resistance to the negative battery post on your car.
If all is well there and you upgraded the big three and you still see your amps drawing too much power, then you need to get an alternator upgrade. Adding another battery just gives your alternator more to charge and will not help in giving your amps more power. The only thing another battery will give you is extended play time when you aren't actually running the car.
Also, dont get a capacitor, useless pieces of garbage unless you have a big enough alternator to support them just like the battery.
Here is a link to a good alternator depending on what year you have.

I dont want to disway you from getting a yellow top though, they are some of the most reliable batteries out there. They can be completely discharged without damaging them , something like 50 times (dont quote me on that, it might be more). I have also seen them stop headlights from blinking in cars that were just barely pulling too much amperage. To answer your question though, they are different because they hold a lot more power and they can release it quite a bit quicker.
just my dos pesos chico.
