weird turn signal problem
Sunday, November 13, 2005 7:36 PM
I was cleaning my interior before winter... I shampooed the carpet and vacumed all of the interior. I'm gonna cover it up so my carpet stays protected!!!!! Anyways I vacumed all of the stuff out, it was still a little damp. So I get in the car after about 2 hours and I drive off and I realize that my turn signals are not working but when I make the turn the signal switch snaps back like it should. So I pull over and turn on my emergency lights.. they work. So I turn off the car and start the engine again, now the signals work!!!!!! What the hell happend?

Ahh... intermittent electrical problems.... aren't they fun?

Could be a loose/bad ground under the carpet... since you got it wet... who knows. I wouldn't worry about it until the next time it happens.
